Transports in Milan Italy

Public transport or taxis is necessary in Milan, as the city extends over a vast area.

Therefore, we can only advise you to visit Milan by bus, metro, tram or taxi.

Luckily, some of the most interesting places to visit are sometimes close to each other, but that's not always the case.

Another element to consider concerns the airports of Milan, Linate and Malpensa.

While Linate is not too far away and can be easily reached by bus or metro, this is not the case with Malpensa, which is more than 40 kilometres from Milan.

On our transport pages, you will find the prices of buses, trams, subways and taxis, as well as maps of Milan's metro lines and that of buses and trams in the city centre.

We also have a page for luggage storage in Milan.
