Among the most exciting and important museums to see in Milan, the Pinacoteca Museum of the Ambrosiana Library is undoubtedly the most important one that should not be missed under any circumstances.

Although this work is considered religious, as it is in a church convent, you cannot go to Milan without seeing Leonardo da Vinci's “Last Supper” in the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie.

Another interesting place to visit in Milan, full of history and where Leonardo da Vinci also left his mark during his stay in Milan, is the Sforza Castle.

It is a large fortified castle, but the frescoed interior decoration of its vaults is beautiful and worth a visit.

Sforza Castle is also home to Michelangelo's last sculpture, the “Pieta Rondina”.

We also have a soft spot for a lesser-known museum close to La Scala in Milan, the Poldi Pezzoli Museum, which contains some masterpieces worth visiting.

The Duomo Museum, right next to Milan Cathedral, is also interesting and has numerous sculptures, mainly from the Middle Ages and a few paintings, including a wonderful Tintoretto.

Finally, let's not forget the Brera Art Gallery, which contains numerous masterpieces.
